We are pleased to welcome you in this city of history and culture. Nutritional problems have become a worldwide problem from under nutrition to over nutrition. The normal physiological limits of nutritional status are not well defined.There is a need to educate people and population regarding computer assisted self help for prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases including hypertension and metabolic syndrome.There is a further need to discover new foods and new nutrient delivery systems by developing designer foods and designer crops for prevention and treatment of diseases. Energy dense foods and crops have been very useful in counteracting poverty and under nutrition in the whole world. The 16th WCCN program areas would range from molecular and cellular biology of nutrients to its application in clinical nutrition in Non-communicable diseases including hypertension and metabolic syndrome.
