 The APNA Annual Conference is the premiere event for psychiatric nursing! It is held in a new location each year to encourage new regional participation and to add travel adventure to those who regularly attend. The 2011 Annual Conference will be held at the magical Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California, October 19-22. The program for this year's conference is still in development, but you can expect three days (or more!) of continuing education specific to psychiatric nursing that offer contact hours for RN-PMH and advanced practice nurses alike. Surrounding the educational sessions will be social and networking events to meet with your peers and learn from each other. APNA also takes this opportunity each year to recognize outstanding contributions to the association and psych nursing through the presentation of the APNA Annual Awards. Join us to celebrate our 25 years as an association of professionals in psychiatric mental health nursing!
