Program Purpose / Objectives
The purpose of this CME activity is to review current diagnosis and management of patients with acute and chronic pulmonary diseases with particular emphasis on sleep disorders.
Preliminary Objectives for activity
Following attendance at this educational activity, participants should be able to:
Discuss the importance of proper chest pain diagnosis
Appreciate the utility and shortcomings of the PSI and CURB-65
Differentiate between imaging methods used in diagnosing DVT
List the most common barriers to quitting smoking

Outline the most common sleep state disorders
Define insomnia disease state and describe approaches to diagnose and assess insomnia based on standard criteria

Review the latest treatment options for COPD
