 The visual design for the 2012 Annual Meeting captures the art and soul of the human body as interpreted by Academy members. A creation of renowned Chicago Design firm of Brierton Design, the artwork reflects not only the beauty and elegance of the human form, but also the marvel of its profound structure. This is illustrated through the combination of an image representing the human body, absent of gender or ethnic background, and surrounding design elements, including curvatures that demonstrate strength, flexibility, and grace—attributes uniquely characteristic of the human body and our Academy Doctors.
