会展描述	The North American and Latin American & Caribbean Regional Committees of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics are pleased to announce the 4th Pan American Congress of Gerontology and Geriatrics, “New Directions for Aging,” which will be held in Ottawa, Canada, from October 21-23, 2011 at the Westin Ottawa hotel.  The Congress will be held in conjunction with the 40th Annual Scientific and Educational Meeting of the Canadian Association on Gerontology.  Join us to share your research with your colleagues from North America, Latin America and the Caribbean!   .This year, we feature exciting discussions which contribute to the meeting's theme of "New Directions for Aging". Keynotes include a joint session by Drs. Kenneth Rockwood and Jeremy Walston on frailty as well as a session on caregiving by Luis Miguel Gutiérrez-Robledo.This international conference also features symposia, workshops and oral sessions covering subjects such as transitions of care, art and aging, the economic cost of health care, age-friendly communities and more.
