 In barely more than a decade the International Cartilage Repair Society has become an influential and unique organization composed of clinicians, scientists and industry partners with a common goal of advancing cartilage science towards more effective clinical treatments of joint injury and degeneration. After our highly successful meeting in Barcelona where more than 1,100 participants presented in excess of 500 studies via podium and poster formats, we are all eagerly awaiting the next ICRS Congress on May 12-15, 2012 in Montreal. The scientific program committee, headed by Jos Malda and Wayne McIlwraith, is already hard at work to structure an exciting and innovative program content that welcomes contributions worldwide from all ICRS stakeholders.
