 The Western Canadian Children’s Heart Network in partnership with the Canadian Pediatric Cardiology Association and the University of British Columbia Continuing Professional Development are excited to be hosting the annual CCC-opening day pediatric cardiology symposium on Sunday, October 23, 2011. This year, the theme is Sudden Death in the Young. The field of sudden death continues to grow in complexity and scope. A faculty of national and international leaders in their respective fields will highlight new developments in a number of conditions associated with sudden death. This half-day symposium will delve into some of the challenging issues faced by health care providers.
