Since its foundation in 2005, the International Academy of Oral Oncology has made significant strides and has conducted two outstanding World Congresses in Amsterdam (2007) and Toronto (2009). The success of these two World Congresses speaks for the vibrancy of IAOO. This is the only international collaborative organization dealing with the specialty of oral oncology, putting together head and neck surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, oral surgeons, dental surgeons, pathologists, specialists in oral medicine and allied clinical specialists as well as basic scientists in the field of oral oncology on the same platform.The Congress chairman Dr. Khee Chee Soo with his local organizing committee and program committee are doing an outstanding job in putting together a magnificent conference in the thriving cosmopolitan city of Singapore in 2011.
